Admiral Sir Mark Stanhope GCB OBE ADC will be hosting our March Fireside Chat. As the First Sea Lord and Chief of Naval Staff, a position he took up in July 2009, he is responsible to Secretary of State for the fighting effectiveness, efficiency and morale of the Naval Service.

This month's Fireside Chat will be hosted by Sinclair McKay, author of the recently published book: 'The Secret Life of Bletchley Park'.

Based on new interviews with dozens of veterans, Sinclair McKay has written the first history of Bletchley Park from the point of view of the ordinary men and women who spent long hours minding deafening Bombe machines and decoding and translating intercepted messages. The result; cracking Germany's 'Enigma' code!
